Ok here we are at another Wednesday!
You’ll never guess it…. My daughter is turning 5 in mid June!
So I’m starting to organise stuff now……
And lucky you! You’ll get to know how I did them!
- White cardstock 4 sheets 12×12
- Dark purple cardstock 12×12
- Pink pokerdot cardstock
- coloured pencils
- “Birthday” and “Party” Stamps
- Pink and purple ink pads
- Printer and computer with internet access (oh – ha ha!!! dugh!!!!)
- Pink sparkly sheer ribbon
- Glitter Glue
prepare 2 sheets of 12×12 cardstock by directly inking purple ink pad onto them.
(why not use purple cardstock? well you can…. I just didn’t have enough in my stock ;) )
Find and print out colouring in pictures of Barbie and Barbie logo.
On other 2 sheets of white cardstock trimmed down to printer size.
I printed the barbie picture by right clicking the file image on my compute and choosing “print”
press Next until I get to the size of prints
And choosing “wallet prints”
Number of times to use each picture: 9
Trim the inked paper card base to six 4″ x 12″ cards and fold in half.
Trim the spotted pink cardstock to 1″ x 61/2″ strips and some dark purple cardstock 2 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
Trim the pictures and Barie logo close to the edges of the images.
Trim some more dark purple cardstock to fit the Barbie logo
Stamp the words “birthday” and “party” onto white cardstock and cut dark purple cardstock to fit that.
mount and colour in image with your pencils
apply the pink dotted strip to the card. And trim to size.
cut 14″ of ribbon and tie around the middle of the card
Foam mount the picture of Barbie onto the card over the ribbon.
Finish off the card by adding the mounted words
I also added glitter glue to the flowers on Barbies dress.
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial,
all the best and I’ll see you again soon. ;)
