I was contacted online about a friends baby shower….. 2 days before the actual event.
Oooops should have known it was going to come up but I hadn’t got anything…..

Lucky I have some fabric scraps so got to work…..
and made my first fabric doll in years.

I did the hair and body different from the original pattern by Judi but it is generally the same thing.

I used the distress technique in the background and stamped ontop of it…. And guess what? It fits right into Tuesday taggers challenge for this week!. Groovy aye. Hurry ends Tuesday. click here to go to Tuesday Taggers.

Now the doll took me 6 hours from start to finish (not including the time on the net looking for a simple dolls pattern) and the tag took about 30 min. Not bad for a last min pressie. I also put the doll into a cane basket and put into it some scrap goodies too. All of which I had lying around the house unused. ;) groovy aye.
