Now you know when you are just stuffing around with life and come across a new thing then go to the shops asking for items…. me asking for: “nail sticker/tattoo – decoration/stencil thingy’s”…. really doesn’t gel with Chemist shops or beauty shops.
I mean you get a “what the…” look from these over made up 20 year old girls, that you could just touch their face and you will leave a dent in their make up, types. And they look at you…ie me…. mum that just looks like I fell out of bed, approaching 40 fast and no make up on at all….in fact I was rushing around all morning with dropping the kids off to school and doing my job, cleaning the church…. not an all together glamourous look and my nails looking like hell….
and I wont even scare you with what I look like!!! (this by the way is 4 days of wear, intense crafting with sticky glue and cleaning the church windows, vacuuming and mopping floors.)
Well I finally started asking the right question….. “Have you got any Nail art supplies?”
Yes I still looked like hell warmed up, but hey at least I work.
I am working on looking better… Honest… ohhh found some great hair accessory, clip in hair thing’s in one store!!! ok, I digress… that would be next I think…. yes I do have makeup.

so as you see I have some supplies!
In about a fortnight I am going to visit an importer beauty warehouse and get a Konad nail art stamp starter kit and maybe a ring of plastic display nails to practice on… yes they are letting me in to have a look! and I maybe able to get them for wholesale prices? This after emailing them for info on which shops I could buy the Konad nail art systems in my area. Pays to ask questions!
I did however find at Farmers store and Life Pharmacy some more expensive and lovely nail art supplies too… little rhinestone decorations, and Sally Hanson nail decals…. all you have to do is stick them on types. I may go back for the rhinestones etc but not the nail decals…. no fun in just stick and that’s it… I need some challenge to do some decorative stuff myself…
Right – off to put out the washing and take off this ghastly chipped nail polish….
