Welcome to the Creative Paperclay(R) and Amazing Mold Putty DT blog hop
(warning – because of time differences in the USA to Here in New Zealand I may be a bit early or late.. many apologies if this is the case.)
If you came from: Molly Walsh http://molly1989-mollysplace.blogspot.com/ then you are in the right place.
If you just happened to fall into this post via search or you are a subscriber/reader of my blog then you are welcome to go back to the start of the blog hop at creative paperclay http://creativepaperclay.blogspot.com
don’t forget to leave some love on every blog…. and at the end you can vote for you fave project and go into the draw to win a great prize package!
And here is how I made it:
You will need:
- Creative Paperclay (R) – available in NZ at ZigZag.co.nz
- Amaizing Mold Putty
- Bead shaped similar to a berry shape
- Leaves from a plant
- Ink pads (light brown and dark brown)
- fave background stamp (I used the basket weave by Sandra Strait)
- Acrylic paints (Red and green)
- Black marker pen
- small chain
- scissors and nail file
step 1: take the Mold Putty and with equal amounts of part A and Part B mix them together, then put the Leaves and beads into the Mold Putty.
step 3: take some clay and make it onto a block for the background. Set aside to air dry.
I often take out the clay carefully when it is wet but you can leave it to dry in the mold if you wish… it will just take longer to air dry. Set aside the wet clay to air dry for a few days.
step 7: once the background rectangle is dry ink the background directing applying the lighter brown ink pad to the piece all over… then Stamp the background image with darker brown ink pad.
Then finally stick all your pieces onto your base and you are done!
Thanks so much for joining us
