Magic pictures were inspired by Pezadoodle and her video of her girl doing awesome work of art.

However my ink pad collection is not Tim Holtz distress inks but Whisper by Inque Boutique (which I also discovered are running dangerously low on ink).

This is a great craft activity for 3 and up.
3-8 year olds will need pre-prep from adult first. Older children could do the clear embossing themselves.

You will need:

Stamps, white paper or card, heat embossing tool, versamark ink pad, clear embossing powder
An Ink pad selection:

I left out the light colours and yellows as I didn’t want them “re-coloured” with other inks.

1. Prepare white paper with clear embossed stamped images. You do this yourself as little ones may not be able to do it. All depending on age/ability really.

2. Set up the kids with some coloured ink pads.
Let them press the ink pads all over the images then rub the images with a rag/paper towel. You will revel an awesome piece of art!

lots of fun for the kids.

Teaches: the beauty of colour and artistic expression.

Have fun with your kiddos. You might want to make their creations into cards for grandparents or a friend.
